The vineyard has a privileged location at the entrance of Valle de Guadalupe, enjoying the maritime air currents from the Pacific Ocean.
The water used for irrigation is of excellent quality, it is sweet since it comes from the natural runoff of the mountains due to winter rains.

WINEMAKER
Paolo Paoloni's childhood was spent at his family's vineyard in Le Marche, Italy; which led to his studies in agronomy and enology. Thirty years ago, Paoloni arrived to Mexico and continued his family’s legacy with his successful career in the food and wine industry
In 1997, he purchased 100 acres of land in Toros Pintos, Valle de Guadalupe and founded Villa Montefiori. A year later he brought in vines from Italy and France, and started harvesting the exquisite "Mexican wines with an Italian heart".
